Who are the Skinners

Jon and Jude Skinner have always been active members of their community. Jon is a qualified teacher and cousellor, he has also been a volunteer Coastguard and run a number of gymnastics clubs. Jude, a Registered Nurse, has many years of experience providing health care in the community. They are now using their wide range of abilities to make a difference in their new community of Bulembu, Swaziland.

Jon is the Principal of a newly opened school for orphans (watch videos of Term 1 and Term 2). Jude is an administrator at the school and is also involved in a Community Clinic in Bulembu. As qualified foster parents they have started to take local children into their own family.

Charlotte works at ABC Ministry who rescue and care for abandoned babies where she runs the toddler school.

Sian and Rachel work at the Community Care Centre where they help provide child care for the numerous children not yet able to attend school that otherwise would be left wandering the streets waiting for a parent to return home from work.
